OMnI workshop completed

After a week of sessions taught by modeler Tony Starfield and past participants, current participants became more familiar with how to use computational modeling methods in their teaching. The workshop also paired faculty, who are content specialists, with current Oberlin students, who are programming .  The faculty/student team worked to create an exercise that will be used in one or multiple courses. The aim was to create exercises for students in various classes across the curriculum that emphasizes the principles of exploring a problem through modeling  and also providing an engaging and authentic experience for  understanding specific content.
